Argan oil is one of the best natural treatments for acne. Acne is often the result of excess sebum that’s caused by hormones. Argan oil’s anti-sebum effects can regulate amounts of sebum on the skin. This can help treat several different types of acne and promote a smoother, calmer complexion. Thanks to argan oil’s sebum-reducing capabilities, it can also assist people with generally oily skin. Research has also found that argan oil can help treat symptoms of atopic dermatitis. Vitamin E and the natural anti-inflammatory properties found in argan oil can lead to a soothing effect.
Argan oil’s vitamin E content is a fat-soluble antioxidant and can help improve water retention in the skin, moisterising the skin. Lastly, researchers found that a combination of oral and cosmetic argan oil led to a significant increase in elasticity of the skin providing an effective anti-aging treatment.
You should start to see results of argan oil’s healing properties after four weeks of use if applying it to the skin at least twice a day. (ref: Healthline)
